Default Child with Eczema

I have a toddler who has eczema and I am afraid that I have somehow caused this by the products that I have used to clean her skin. I used an antibacterial soap and I think this triggered the eczema. I have stopped using it but the eczema has remained. I am not even sure if this can start eczema or if it is purely an inherited disease. I really want it to go away and wonder if there is something I can immediately do to stop it in its tracks. I was reading about how important it is to look after the skin of those with eczema but isn't there any sore of treatment to actually get rid of it at this early stage?
